Chris Reed

Chris Reed

COMMERCIAL &
OPERATIONS LEAD

Chris Reed leads the commercial strategy and operational deployment of the x10AI Platform. A co-founder of x10AI Ltd, he brings over 15 years of executive experience across renewable energy, infrastructure development and business transformation.

Chris previously served as UK Renewables Director at Total Gas & Power, and has overseen the deployment of more than 4,000 MW of renewable assets globally, leading complex technical due diligence and third-party contractual frameworks. He has also built and scaled a wind energy business from a standing star. In addition, he has worked as a business turnaround consultant, supporting underperforming companies to stabilise operations and restore commercial performance.

Chris bridges the gap between x10AI’s R&D innovation and market delivery, ensuring the platform translates advanced technical capability into robust, commercially viable solutions that scale from pilot deployment to international adoption.

Thomas Cromie

Thomas Cromie

CO-FOUNDER &
TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

Thomas Cromie is a co-founder and Technical Director of x10AI Ltd, where he leads the technical development of the x10AI Platform. A geologist by training with a strong agricultural background, he has spent many years working at the intersection of renewable energy, nutrient utilisation and environmental systems.

With over 20 years of experience in carbon and nutrient flow modelling and environmental technology, Thomas architects the core algorithms that underpin x10AI’s digital twin capabilities. Thomas has successfully delivered multiple Innovate UK and SBRI programmes, translating complex research and development into practical, on-farm solutions.

Thomas has extensive networks across the UK and Irish beef sectors, ensuring that x10AI’s technical innovations are grounded in agricultural reality and designed for scalable, commercial adoption.

Bartosz Gorecki

Bartosz Gorecki

PLATFORM DEVELOPMENT LEAD

Bartosz Gorecki drives the technical architecture of the x10AI Platform, translating advanced scientific models into scalable, production-grade code. Specializing in Computational Intelligence, Bartosz leads the development of x10AI’s core algorithms, with a specific focus on signal classification and predictive analytics. He is responsible for the platform’s machine learning engine, converting complex raw data, into the precise, real-time environmental insights that power our digital twins.

Amy-Lally

Dr. Amy Lally

GIS & GEOSPATIAL ANALYSIS LEAD

Dr. Amy Lally directs the geospatial intelligence layer of the x10AI Platform. As the Geospatial Analysis Lead, she manages the acquisition and processing of critical multispectral data. Amy specialises in converting complex aerial imagery, such as NDVI vegetation indices and high-resolution point clouds, into verifiable environmental baselines. Her expertise ensures that x10AI’s digital twins are built on rigorous, ground-truthed spatial datasets, enabling precise modelling of soil moisture, riparian health, and natural capital assets.

David-Rooney

Prof. David Rooney

WHOLE SYSTEMS MODELLING LEAD

Professor David Rooney is a globally recognised authority in Chemical Engineering and Director of the Centre for Advanced Sustainable Energy (CASE) at Queen’s University Belfast. As x10AI’s lead for whole systems modelling, David architects the platform’s ability to unify complex carbon, nutrient, and energy flows. His expertise ensures our environmental models go beyond simple accounting, grounding x10AI’s algorithms in rigorous scientific principles. By bridging the gap between physical resource cycles and digital intelligence, he validates the platform’s capacity to deliver holistic, engineering-grade solutions for global sustainability.

Seán-McLoone

Prof. Seán McLoone

AI & MACHINE
LEARNING LEAD

Professor Seán McLoone is a distinguished authority in Computational Intelligence and Director of the Centre for Intelligent Autonomous Manufacturing Systems (i-AMS) at Queen’s University Belfast. With over 30 years of experience in control engineering and data-based modelling, Seán leads the AI and Machine Learning development for the x10AI Platform. He is responsible for architecting the platform’s advanced signal classification and predictive capabilities, ensuring our digital twins rely on validated, engineering-grade AI. His expertise bridges the gap between theoretical machine learning and robust, real-world application, driving x10AI’s ability to deliver high-fidelity insights for the global energy and agri-tech sectors.

Dr-Neil-Harrison

Dr. Neil Harrison

CALIBRATION & COMPLIANCE LEAD

Dr. Neil Harrison ensures the scientific integrity and regulatory alignment of the x10AI Platform. A former Principal Research Scientist at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) with a PhD in Physics, Neil brings world-class expertise in metrology and sensor calibration to our digital twin infrastructure. Currently Head of Operations and Strategy at CASE, he bridges the gap between precision engineering and policy, validating x10AI’s environmental models against the highest global standards for Environmental compliance.

Alastair-Ruffell

Dr. Alastair Ruffell

REMOTE SENSING & GEOSPATIAL LEAD

Dr. Alastair Ruffell is a leading authority in geospatial forensics and remote sensing at Queen’s University Belfast. As x10AI’s lead for drone and remote sensing integration, Alastair directs the platform’s capacity to validate environmental data from the sky down. An expert in multispectral imaging and terrain modelling, he is responsible for calibrating the platform’s ‘eyes’ – ensuring that drone-derived biodiversity baselines, riparian zone mapping, and vegetation indices meet rigorous scientific standards. His work bridges the gap between raw aerial data and verifiable natural capital accounting, providing the ground-truth essential for x10AI’s environmental credit verification.
